Internationally recognized praise/worship band Planetshakers delivers up a brand new single titled, “Show Me Your Glory,” from Venture3Media (V3M).
Offering their thoughts on the song; “When you are thinking about the encounters with the Glory of God that you read about in the scriptures, and then you are thinking about now – what would that sound like?” – asks Harrison in an Instagram post.
In response, Ham says in the post; “There’s awe, the glory is here… That is the kind of feeling that we wanted to capture.”
“Every time we sing ‘Show Me Your Glory,’ it’s like Bam! God is there… It’s a breather, it’s a space for people to go ‘I’m encountering Him, I’m hearing Him.” – expresses Sam Evans.
Pastor Russell Evans goes on to add; “Just as Moses would not go anywhere unless God’s presence accompanied him, we have that same heart’s cry.
At this year’s conference, people from all over Australia and the world came together with that common passion.”
The song which was recorded live during the Planetshakers Conference held in Melbourne, Australia in January 2023, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, pushes the emotive, dynamic boundaries of worship.
Along with the full Planetshakers band, the voices of thousands attending the conference are heard loudly rejoicing, expressing their heartfelt worship in the nine-minute-plus anthem.
This new song is the title track of the highly-anticipated, full-length album set to debut in July. It is produced by Joth Hunt and written by Hunt, BJ Pridham, Andy Harrison, Josh Ham and Noah Walker.
Lyrics: Show Me Your Glory By Planetshakers
Open our eyes, and give us ears to hear
We turn aside, by faith we’re drawing near
Incline our hearts, and purify Your people
We see the Lord, seated on the throne
And the train of His robe fills the temple
In the light of His face awe and wonder
Show me Your glory, show me Your glory
God of majesty, God of power
Show me Your glory, show me Your glory
Heavenly hosts, they’re bowing down before Him
They cast their crowns & lay them down before Him
Flashes of light, a voice like thunder roaring
We see the Lord seated on the throne
And the train of His robe fills the temple
In the light of His face awe and wonder
Show me Your glory, show me Your glory
God of majesty, God of power
Show me Your glory, show me Your glory
You are good, You are good
You are good, and Your love endures forever
You are good, You are good
You are good, and forever You will reign
Show me Your glory, show me Your glory
Show me Your glory, show me Your glory
