The program “Hallelujah Challenge” also called “The midnight praise challenge” is a One-Hour online praise/worship session initiated by Nathaniel Bassey, and held at devoted and intentional hours daily.
The program started in June 2017 (from the hours of 12 am to 1 am) with an amazing reach of 68,000+ participants on Instagram live from around the world.
And ended with a grand finale themed “The Hallelujah Festival” which was held in Lagos.
Nathaniel Bassey had in 2021 released a “Hallelujah Challenge Medley” – a 14min long track featuring a compilation of praise songs used frequently in Hallelujah Challenge sessions, most of which have become an anthem on the lips of many globally.
The organizer of this program Nathaniel Bassey is a highly celebrated Nigerian gospel singer-songwriter, music producer, trumpeter, and pastor at “The Oasis” (the youth church of RCCG King’s Court Parish).
