Canadian-based Nigerian Gospel artiste, Abijossy presents a brand new music video titled “Ni Suuru (Be Patient)”.
The song which features Motivated Dave, reaffirms that Patience is a great virtue.
Speaking about the song Motivated Dave noted that the singer’s songs have never been just about flair and melody, as Abijossy has always paid particular attention to the edification of the soul through his lyrics.
“Even though the verse was to be just a little over 60 seconds, many hours of studying and reflecting went into it”, he added.
“Often, we put ourselves under undue pressure due to other people’s expectations! We believe we would disappoint those who have certain expectations of us if we do not live up to their standards and definition of accomplishment. The truth is, we end up hurting ourselves when we constantly do that!
This is what leads to edginess and irritation! This is what breeds impatience! We start to compare our lives using other people’s yardsticks and standards!
You must come to the point where competition does not excite you anymore. If others think they are winning, congratulate them! If they think they are doing better, good for them! Getting ahead or behind shouldn’t matter if you know that your essence of living is being accomplished and you are getting better every day!”, Motivated Dave added.
